HR & Recruitment Officer

Salary: up to £45,000

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of a varied people-focused position within an established business.

The role combines talent acquisition with general HR responsibilities, covering the full hiring journey, new starter processes, employee administration and practical support for line managers. This fully office based position would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, can confidently manage competing priorities and brings a proactive, organised approach to HR.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment cycle, from advertising through to offer.
• Source, screen and shortlist candidates across varied roles.
• Coordinate interviews and keep hiring processes moving.
• Manage pre-employment checks, onboarding and inductions.
• Handle contracts, employee changes and core HR administration.
• Support managers with absence, employee queries and HR processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, trackers and management information.
• Support compliance, engagement and wider people initiatives.
  
  

What Experience is Required

• 3+ years’ experience across HR and recruitment.
• Strong end-to-end recruitment capability.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident advising and supporting managers.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously and juggle changing priorities.
• Proactive, practical and solutions-focused.
